Il GISI - Associazione Imprese Italiane di Strumentazione - è stato costituito nell'anno 1974 allo scopo di dar vita ad una Associazione che riunisse le aziende operanti del campo della strumentazione e della automazione dei processi produttivi, sia nella veste di costruttori che di operatori economici.
